Thanks! That's kind of you! Nothing to do with kindness, has to do with the basic storyteller's agreement. I agree to tell a story if you agree to listen. That's where I disagreed with King. King worked on "The Plant", made over $1,000,000 after taxes and expenses on it. But then, he decided to stop halfway through because some people were ripping him off, and reading the story chapters for free instead of paying. Other people were posting the story chapters on UseNet and on their personal websites, and on and on and on. Figure he lost maybe a quarter million in sales to that. But hey, you know, if I'm making a million bucks off a story, I'm damn well GONNA finish that story even if I AM getting ripped off for a few hundred thousand here or there. People have paid good money for it, I've got their money in my pocket, it's BIG money, I'm GONNA deliver. But, aside from the simple monetary aspect, it's about keeping the promise, and telling the tale to it's conclusion. Sure, as far as I'm concerned, King had a million VERY good reasons to keep telling the story. But, even if he hadn't made a dime, the story needs to be told so long as at least one fan is interested in reading it. This one's a freebie - I make no money off of it, I do it to generate buzz. But, you two WERE reading it, and even ONE fan counts, as far as I'm concerned. It's about the storyteller's promise. So, I WILL finish it. Just not right now, it's not generating any buzz. I need to do something that will generate buzz.

Wow, thanks ! ;D I agree with Kilarin, I fully understand you aren't encouraged to finishing it, and I won't blame you if you never did. The story only *just started*, it's not like we're waiting for the last two pages from 1000 pages big story... Of course, if you will finish it (I don't care when), it'll be al the more fun for me. Do the more important projects first. Take your time, it's yours anyway. On a sidenote, I have been trying to get my mother to start reading For Love of Evil, but no luck so far. She's currently very busy, as she's just moved and now she has to show off 50 of her drawings and paining in a gallery. Sounds great, untill you know she has to get them there within a month, and she only has about 40 of them. So now she's working 'round the clock in an attempt to have enough works to put to display, and she liturally doesn't have the time to even turn on the computer, much less browse the forums and seek your graphic novel. She asked me to save those images to her hard drive, so she can read the pages more easily, once she has more time. Is it allright for me to do that ? It'd mean you get no page hits for it, but at least one more person reading...

Is it allright for me to do that ? I suppose, if it's the only way to get her to read it.

Well, I'm still reading it.
I just never say anything, ever.
Ever.

Imageshack has a tendency to "loose" pictures after a while. It's very unreliable. We need to ask Xaa if he could replace the broken image links.
