One of the more involved aspects of what I do is planning what the book covers will look like. Doing this usually requires me to build models for use in poser - in this case, an entire character. That's Caligostro, whom you may be familiar with from the 3rd and 4th Pandora's Box books. His arms, legs and head are easy-pose arrangements, it's just a matter of twisting a couple dials to get them posed. And here's Caligostro getting a talking-to from his new friend, who appears in book 6 (as yet unfinished).

Incidentally, for those who are interested, the book that I was writing that I needed the Caligostro model for is done. I'm in the "polishing" phase, at this point - searching for errors in spelling, grammar, etc.
The book answers the question "Just what was Caligostro doing during the course of Book 5 of the series?"

Xaa, have you ever considered making skins for, say, a FPS game like UT 2007 or Gears of War? Cause this is extremely high quality stuff and on the same level as some of the custom content I have seen released for those games on their official forums, BETTER, even, than some of it. I know from seeing the new stuff in Mageworld/LoH you are good at animation and area design, I bet you'd be a wonderful modeler/mapper for that kind of game.
Something I'd KILL to see: Mageworld, with UT 2007 graphics engine, Oblivion combat system and the detail of Morrowind.
