And yes, this really is my modded Posette. The goal here is to attempt to imitate the style of pinup illustrations of the '40s and '50s.

Eyelashes back then were often done with a single sweep of the brush. This is particularly noticable in Vargas' works.

Valentines. Hey, I'm secure in my manhood, I'll accept flowers and candy from a woman. Particularly one dressed like that.

DAZ's "The Girl" also is good for pinups. She is made in a style that was very common in the 1940's.

Of course, the question then becomes "How do you do that?" Answer: With lighting and textures. My modded Posette in the above images is using a procedural skin that makes her skin look like porcelain. It requires one set of lighting to make it look right. Meanwhile, The Girl is using V3 Hi-Rez textures, which requires another set of lights. Here's what they look like in more ordinary lighting.

And one more pinup of The Girl. I like this character quite a bit. She has that "Forties Nose Art" look about her.

Slowly getting better at this. The picture's title, incidentally, is "Come Now, Daddy, You Can't Possibly Mean I Don't Need A New Jaguar."

I think I've finally got the "Vargas Pinup" style down. This one is called "Come here." And yes, that's still my modded Posette, P10x. She's almost perfect, now. I just need to fiddle with her a bit more... Heh. I'll be old and gray and bent over my keyboard thirty years from now, poking at her and saying "she's almost perfect, now..." LOL!
