She is, literally, a culture icon, and her own humanity seems to be slipping away from her. Meanwhile, on Deneb, plans are in motion. The Confederacy wants the secret of immortality the fornalda grants, and they're willing to go to any length to get it. And in a seldom-visited area of space, a hidden danger lurks... Very excellent read Xaa, although, I am not sure if I should be saddened or not. it almost seems in the epilogue, that the story is over? Please tell me I am wrong, and that I am reading too deep into what I saw.
I also feel very heartbroken after what Happened with Media, and D'Shan. so much like Romeo and Juliet, its suprising to me I didnt think it would end that way from the beginning. I mean, you basically told us it would with your foreshadowing, or at least thatis how I interpreted it.
Again good read, I jsut hope it isnt hte last of teh series.

Very excellent read Xaa, although, I am not sure if I should be saddened or not. it almost seems in the epilogue, that the story is over? Well, yes and no. Medea's story is over, and for obvious reasons. However, I intend to continue that series. I just figured after ploughing through a book that large, you at least deserved to know that I really do have an idea of where I'm going. Oh, yeah, that ending was something I was working up to from the beginning (if one can pardon the obvious pun). What happens to Medea is supposed to be realistic, not "fantasy wish fulfillment." Mars is not Fantasy Island, and Caesar bears no resemblance to Mister Rourke. Yet. This also isn't an ending I necessarily shy away from, when the plot calls for it. Notice what happened to Fleet Admiral J'Maya as part of the background stories of everything that followed. Yes, she saved the world, got married, yadda yadda. But, when you take a look at what's described as her life in Book 3, you realize that her current existence isn't necessarily a "happy ending." Or, as D'Shan would put it, "Senmortico sukaj."
