An interesting article on the future of the publishing industry: tbm.thebigmoney.com/articles/saga/2009/03/04/kindle-revolution?page=0,0 The author points out that the now famous Twilight series started out as self-published. My wife is a big Brandon Sanderson fan, so is my son, he loved his Alcatraz Versus The Evil Librarians series. Sanderson isn't huge yet, but he is established and growing, and he has self published stories. I know I've said it before, but I think the environment is changing. I think we are just over the edge into the era when it's possible to successfully publish a book without fighting through the big publishing houses. SO, what can we do to bring Mr. Farris's books before the public's eyes again? What can we, as fans, do to help promote his work, besides just word of mouth?
