Ten miles! Uphill! Both Ways! Man, you kids today don't know how lucky you are. 24-bit, 16 million colors... Back in the old days, we had FOUR colors, and that was it! And we didn't have no damn "copy-paste" crap or photoshop or none of that! When we wanted to make a picture, we damn well poked in the data for the image pixel by pixel, like REAL men! And they weren't no damn teeny tiny pixels like today, neither! Nossir, we had MANLY pixels, the size of your fist!

When I started programming, you didn't have a screen, you printed your graphics out on a line printer, in one color - Henry Ford Black. And the memory on the machine was too small to run the compiler, so you programmed directly in machine code, one bit at a time on a bank of switches.
REAL "Real men" can't type! 8 - )

You forgot the hungry wolves howling ... You know, when you speak like this, you remind me of my mother .

You forgot the hungry wolves howling ... You know, when you speak like this, you remind me of my mother . Your mother programmed adventure games with Adventure Construction Set?

Ok, ghastley has me beat. BUT, not by a whole lot. I wrote my first computer games on a trs-80 model 1 level 1 with 4K of ram and text semi-graphics with a resolution of 128x48. When I got my first 1200 baud modem, all my friends came over just to see it work. We could dial up a BBS and the screen actually filled up with text FASTER THAN YOU COULD READ IT!!!!! It was such an incredible leap over 300baud that we were all amazed. As for multiplayer games? I remember when TradeWars was the ultimate in Multiplayer. You dialed up the BBS until you didn't get a busy signal, logged in. You were (usually) the only person on the BBS at the time. You took your 10 turns, logged out. Then checked in the next day to see what had happened. So anyway, What brought on the "Adventure Construction Set" flashback Xaa?

Ok, ghastley has me beat. BUT, not by a whole lot. Ghastley and I are from about the same time period, programming-wise. I started on a mini at our college, over thirty years ago. I managed to get an IBM version of it going on my machine. It's still fun, though now after some twenty years, it's apparent it's so limited I couldn't really tell the kind of stories I like to tell in it. =) I remember spending hours and hours of my evening time working on ACS on an old "Apple ][e." It was lots of fun making games and stories and graphics for it. The Apple was cutting edge for the time, really. Instead of 4 colors in the pallette, you had SIX! *stunned gasps from the audience*.

Getting reputation with the Frenzyheart Tribe wow power leveling is fun and rewarding. It doesn¡¯t necessarily have to take you a lot of time if you make sure you complete the wow gold chain quest and then do those dailies. Once you are Exalted with these guys you could choose to become Exalted with The Oracles. wow power leveling There is an achievement that requires you to become exalted with both the Frenzyheart wow gold Tribe and The Oracles. I would advise that, if you plan to raise your reputation to Exalted with both factions, you end with the one that is most dearest to you, SRO Gold and probably, which trinket you would really like to be able to use since you can¡¯t equip them if you don¡¯t EVE ISK have the Exalted status with This strategy has been tested by many people and myself SRO gold so it absolutely works great! On the down side this strategy only works with mages and priests. SNW vis A group of a mage and a priest is the ideal way for this strategy to work.
