Please, please, please. If you ever make a new version make talent effect how often you get runes(even if its just slight like.2% or somin) I just spent 300 rock summons to get one rune and fortunately it was the one i wanted anyway Just wandering, is there any way to improve your chances of getting a rune? Im bored of damn rocks!

I posted this a long time ago over <Here> But I think it deserves repeating! It's a FEATURE, not a bug! Working up precision is a pain. You can't just fork or leave your character running at the pel or in an endless fight because you keep running out of ammo. With missile weapons you get 1xp every time you fire. You get a bonus xp for a hit. (This may even be based on the amount of damage done, or at least my bow seems to give 3xp on regular hits.) You get MORE xp for a one shot kill, and MORE xp for the blow that takes the enemy down. So, you can use "Summon Rock" to get your precision up. Quit fighting enemies with anything but rocks. Empty out most of your inventory. Rune Forage until you have filled your inventory with rocks. Pick some opponent and start chunking rocks at them. Every miss gets 1xp. Every hit gets 2xp. And the takedown blow gets more. And it takes a LOT of rocks to kill someone. Adding up to a LOT of xp. For example: I can kill the spiders in row 4 or 5 with just a few shots from my bow, so I get less than 50xp, almost guaranteed. BUT, it takes a LOT of rocks to kill a spider. They regenerate almost as quickly as you can throw the rocks. They regenerate while you are collecting the rocks back up. And when they get to low, you can always stop and rune forage for a bit to replace lost rocks while the spider gets back up to full. I milked one spider for enough experience to get my precision up by two points. All thanks to Rune Foraging! And I don't cry when my rocks fall off the edge of the world. AND, when you get precision up, your dex improves, and dexterity sets your damage for everything. All Hail the mighty "Summon Rock!"

I agree with Kilarin.
Summon Rock can be used to your advantage. Though it can be a bit annoying when you need Runes, keep in mind that to make better use of the Runes, you need higher Talent ( to reduce the chance to botch on crafting your Spells ). Finding Runes takes time, but meanwhile your Talent goes up. No disadvantage there, either. And the huge piles of rock ? Do as Kilarin says, and use them. Gaining a few points in Precision Under Fire can boost your Dexterity a bit, which helps every character, even if they don't use ranged weapons.

Ok, i just foraged for some more rocks(managed to get a handy creation after only a few summons this time) Then i throw the rocks at things expect...this wont do any damage its a rock. Each hit somehow manages to score atleast 1 damage against knights and more against pawns/bishops. So i decided which ancient goodie i would pick just based on rocks... Got 2 precision from just 2 knights Edit: ok i just had one of those "WTF LOL" moments where i threw an arma volatus at a black widow and it killed it and it scaled up in size...how could she lift such a big heavy looking thing
