Hello. This is some kind of a bug-report. After playing Mageworld 3.1 for 2 hours from the beginning I found a surprise: Mantri had changed his name to Pooka ( sic!). There are also several minor bugs (really, non-fatal mistakes in texts). Erm... In addition, gray bars of the progress in the secondary stats don't fit right during shopping (this bug appears because active weapon/spell/skill panel isn't visible during shopping, thus the bars need to be moved in the left direction), when you place the cursor over the slots in the active weapon/spell/skill panel, you don't see pop-up box with an info about the name and the level of the skill (in DS you were able to see the level of the skills with decimal fractions), and those skills don't give a message when increase (but Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence do give: «Someone has just increased in something»).

The first thing, if I recall, is a bug having to do with pack animals. Every so often they'd adopt the name of the main character, for no explainable reason. Perhaps someone else could shed more light on that.
And for the combat skills not showing levels and such, I believe that is intentional.

It seems to be a bug of the script changing names. Normally it changes the main character's name to Pooka. But in the bug case it was applied to Mantri, and the main character's name was left without changes. Really, in DS I didn't encounter bugs with packmules. The situation with the secondary stats' level up without a message looks like Xaa forgot to add those messages, but actually I don't know.
