I had a dream last night where I was playing Mageworld and by using a spell I was able to transform into different creatures based on the type of region I was in and what colour I was.
Why not implement something like this?

Hmmm...don't you already play transformed creatures? Leave the poor horse alone.

I had a dream last night where I was playing Mageworld and by using a spell I was able to transform into different creatures based on the type of region I was in and what colour I was. Why not implement something like this? Because 1) It would defeat several of the underlying plot elements and social concepts in the game, and 2) allowing you to switch sides using a spell would instantly overbalance the game towards white, since white has all the advantages when it comes to spellcasting. Allowing white to become black would mean that white could thereafter train, shop, and equip themselves far easier, and would make playing black or red completely pointless. Your thoughts on this matter are appreciated. However, this is not going to happen, ever. Thank you for your input.

I never said anything about changing alignment, but ah well. It was just an idea.
