Mageworld 3.1 is now available (yes, really). Mageworld 3.1 requires DS 1.11 and Windows to play. Mageworld is NOT compatible with DS2. If you have previous installations of Mageworld, you will need to REMOVE those files (the .dsmap and .dsres files, not your save games) before installing Mageworld 3.1. The game will run on the MAC version, but you may need a Windows emulator to read the help file - it's in .chm format. If this isn't possible (or if it doesn't work - I don't have a Mac to test it) and you Mac users still want the help file I made, you can e-mail me and I'll send it to you in HTML format. And again - Mageworld requires DS1.11, and it does NOT work with DS2. Please do not e-mail me telling me how you spent eighteen hours downloading it only to find out it doesn't work with DS2, I already SAID it doesn't work with DS2. Thanks much. You can download Mageworld 3.1 at the following URL: www.fileflyer.com/view/AeoZHCDNote: Fileflyer has a free file browser thingie - I don't reccommend you get it, I think it may be adware. Also, there is a limited number of daily downloads allowed on large files at fileflyer, if they don't let you get it, try again the next day. Given how big Mageworld is, this might be very few downloads a day.

Why not you have created a download section and make all creation shortcuts and readme files together. Since you are missing LoH 3.0,darkling mod etc here.

Probably because he doesn't want to fight with getting the whole monstrously large thing uploaded again.

I don't mean the whole files.I mean only shortcuts.I have used shortcuts on siegenetworkcom when the file belongs to fileplanet. That helps to locate files.

To play Mageworld you need to have Dungeon Siege 1 installed and updated to version 1.11. If you have Legends of Aranna installed, you already have version 1.11 and don't have to update.
To play you need to doznload all Mageworld files listed above, and follow the instructions in the readme, which is included with the downloads.
Mageworld is not compatible with Dungeon Siege 2.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a disk copy of these 2 siegelets? Thanks, Tammy And before anyone replies "You can't", that's not what we're getting at, here. Tammy e-mailed me at my home address, she would like to get a copy of Mageworld (and LoH) on CD. If anyone has a spare copy floating around and would like to mail it to her, it would likely be greatly appreciated. =)

I could have a look to see if I can find the cd's I have Mw and LoH on, and then get them onto one cd. Though, I don't have the zipped files around, and can only provide the unzipped files and the EULA separately. So if she lives in Europe, I should be able to get it to her fairly readily. Otherwise it may be easier/cheaper for someone else to send it.

Where is she based, Europe, USA?, or elsewhere?
Does she have broadband access? Because I might be able to provide a temp download site. MIGHT.

Well, if she can download it, I may be able to temporarily put it on my own webserver, too. Though, my upload speed is quite crappy and my traffic limit is annoying. So if she can download it, and if Kilarin can't provide a temporary download source, I could put it on mine, though that'll have to wait until next month when they clear my limit again, and it won't be a very fast download either.
If downloading is not an option, my offer to use snailmail still stands.

>my offer to use snailmail still stands.
And if she's in the US, I can probably work something out, if it comes to snailmail.
So, we need tammydumire to let us know where she is located, and what her download situation is.

Hello everyone..
- I'm trying to get the Mageworld Journal to install MWv3.0
I note that Xaa has now compiled the helpfile and bundled this together with the download..
will MWJ deal with the new package OK - I mean, has it been adapted to work with MW3.0..??
If not, how should I set up MWJ to include the original ReadMe..?
BTW: how is everyone..??

ok, its been 3 years since the last version of MWJ came out, so I'm a bit foggy on the details. BUT, mageworld 3.0 came out 2006/08/16 and MWJ 1.0 was released 2005/06/27.
BUT, the only change that really affected MWJ was the availability of the new windows help file. And I think that only affected it by making the indexed version in MWJ redundant.
SO, I THINK MWJ 1.0 should install Mageworld 3.0 just fine. Try it and let me know. If it doesn't work, just install Mageworld 3.0 by hand.
And hey, good to hear from you!!!!
