Hi! I´m crossing the iceberg grid now, the place where xena is... There is a wartower-like building with a BIG button outside, and an elevator inside. Mantri has managed to get inside without opening the door! The button isn`t working and so he cannot leave again. Is this a bug? Is there some way to release him?
Thanks for this great siegelet anyway! Keep on good working! ;D
Greetings Perechon

Ugh, Mantri must have slipped through a crack. It happens. I've never seen it happen THERE through.
You MIGHT be able to maneuver him back through the crack. Move him right up to a wall, probably to the door. Get him as close as you possibly can, then try rotating the camera angle so that he appears to be partially outside, and click outside.
If that doesn't work, and it probably won't, your best bet is probably to go back to a previous save.
Of course, I'm assuming your at the point in the game where you can not open that door. Otherwise the problem just becomes solving the puzzle.
Good luck!

Is this a bug? Is there some way to release him? Yes, it's a bug - the bug is in Dungeon Siege, however. Due to the way DS processes movement in the game, it is possible for a character to walk into a place they can't then walk back out of, later. You see, the way the engine actually processes the game world, each individual node is actually like a miniature world itself. When you move (or shoot an arrow, or whatever), the game goes through some really complicated mathematics to link the nodes together for the calculation, then moves the character (or arrow, or spell effect, or whatever). If, however, there is any error in the calculation (which happens from time to time), it's possible for the character to end up stuck in a spot they can't get out of because they weren't supposed to be able to get into there in the first place. So, yes, unless you are at the point where your quest log says to go after the White King, you're stuck. You'll have to restart from your most recent save.
