There is no way in heck that Az can follow out God's order to kill Satin. Only someone equal or greater in power can kill Satin. That has already been said many times over I think. For a while before I realised this a few seconds ago, I was actually worried about it.
Stupid me

Hey Diablo, how about reading the old episodes again. You pick up a lot of new things.
cypherwulfe - Maybe Az will try to stand between Satin and the clock? She probably can't do anything directly to Satin, but she can do things that might escalate things that God has in mind. Like turning Az and Satin against each other.

just keep telling yourself, the long delay means that Xaa is working on something EXTRA GOOD! Not that some nasty boss is making him work nights to pay the bills.

just keep telling yourself, the long delay means that Xaa is working on something EXTRA GOOD! Yes, actually, I was wrapping up the 2nd and 3rd "Wench of Woe" books for publication. Man, I really need to put this thread on "bookmark" so I know when people post to it.

He WOULD let us catch up to him right at the climax, wouldn't he. Believe it or not, how you end a story is incredibly important. I've been working on the "Wench of Woe" series to give this story a moment to gel in my mind. I already know how it ends, of course. And those who have been paying attention and are used to how I write should also have a pretty good idea, too, it's been foreshadowed for a long time. Yet, the ending of a story, for me, has to be just right. Like with Tolkien and LOTR, you'd have felt cheated if Frodo just hauled back, overhand-chucked the ring into the volcano, and then did a victory-dance. And more, I'm finding that a graphic novel is really a different animal than a work of literature. Really, it's like a short story. This may have taken 79 pages to do, but if it was written up as just dialog and scene descriptions, it would barely have taken up four pages. Ending a short story correctly is even more difficult to get right than with a normal novel. Ending a graphic novel correctly requires a certain touch, so the reader feels that all loose ends are tied up (or, at least, they look pretty dangling there). I *do* intend to finish this. In fact, likely sometime within the next few days, before I get to work on the next "Pandora's Box" book.

Reminded me of Wapsi Square (http://www.wapsisquare.com). Specifically this strip and others like it: www.wapsisquare.com/d/20051104.htmlWapsi Square is, BTW, one of the most moving, funny, and artistically pleasing web-comics I've ever found on the internet. Easily my favorite of the 2 or 3 I read lately. The particular story arc I've linked to above has brought me to tears several times now (and if I read it again it will probably evoke the same reaction again). Definately a winner. Eagerly waiting to see the end, Xaa. Interesting observations about graphic novels & their end, BTW. Being able to see the reflections of a writer as they ponder the difficulties/differences of a new medium = priceless.

They wouldn't let Baal do D3 cutscenes, unless he got a name change... and if there was actually a D3 planned... stupid Blizzard North and their stupid secret project that only they know anything about <_>

Where are they ? Where ?! I cannot see them on DiskUs nor CaféPress... Ooh the tormenting need for Xaabooks. Damn you Xaa ! Damn you... I still have to get to Belgium to get my hands on those Xaabooks I had ordered, and I won't be going untill next month ! *sigh* Meanwhile I'll just be re-reading my precious Xaabooks... Apotheosis is currently on its 9th (or more, I lost count after the 7th time somewhere) re-read-run, and the Mage Trilogy (the original three, that is) will follow after that for their 5th or 6th re-reading session.
