Well, this might not really count as a problem... but a minor annoyance anyway. What happends is that everytime i mark Robbie the game starts to slow down, making the all the characters move like they have a mild case of epilepci. This is probably due to my not-so-new computer, but why Robbie? Does he take need more visual power than the rest (have no problem when i play the others) or is he just the straw that broke the harddrive's back. Feel bad for poor Robbie if this is so - very undeserved . I've now started packing him with exclusively stuff i dont plan on using with in the couple of months... or years... or ever. he,he.

Ursa had the same problem. Xaa fixed that in one of the later updates. Though whether that was in 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0, I can't remember. Fortunately, it only slows everything down when that particular character is the active selection, so it's not too annoying when playing. And if it's for inventory stuff... I usually pause when doing that, so I can take my time without worrying about the food-timers And while it's paused, there is -of course- no lag.

You pause to save food ? Woow, that is lazy - i mean it so extremly easy to get. Pausing to stop lag, on the other hand, is a nice and usable tip.

Hehe I don't pause when I only take a few seconds in the inventory, but I'm usually quite bent on having it all structured and stuff, so just swapping one item from one inventory to another can take up over 10 minutes, as I have to restructure everything in everyone's inventory, so everything I want grouped together, stays grouped together... One of the things that annoys me boundlessly, is the auto-sort function. I disable that hotkey before I set the screen resolution and stuff after a new install. And I just hate it when playing LoA ( or mods/siegelets/total conversions ) based on it, it always auto-sorts when you try to pick up something that doesn't fit in your free inventory space. Each time that happens, I spend another 5 minutes to tidy up my inventory again. So, seeing how I tend to swap thing around in the inventory about once an hour, and that it takes me easily 10 minutes each time -if not more- I believe it's not all about me being lazy. But yes, food is indeed easy to get, so I understand it looks like that to you.

Ah, in that case i do understand. I'm a bit of a order-freak myself, probably not as bad as you when it comes to inventory in DS - but still . I'm spending way too much time on placing specific things with a specific character. As if items would somehow be sucked in to a black hole and forever lost otherwise. Ursa could never carry that which is trusted to Mantri, dont ask me why (because there is not really a valid reason ) Mmm... the beauty of unreasonable behavior ;D ...
