First off, hello again. Recently started to play DS again, but got bored quickly with regular DS, so I downloaded Mageworld again. Much better Thanks Xaa, for a great game. So, I got to KR8 yesterday, killed the inhabitants (except the Virahata, ofcourse) and moved on to KK8. Saved right of the airship, and quit. I load it today, open my inventory and get this; the toolkit and scrolls are still there, but invisible and the scrolls can't be equipped. Any help here would be appreciated.

Yeah, tried loading several earlier saves, they all have the same problem.

I had this same glitch happen on some items, or even worse, I had an item that was flashing multiple different shapes. it was really a rock but the image in inventory was flashing between a scroll and an arrow (or something like that). It's a Dungeon Siege bug and the only fix I found was to back up enough saves until you found one where it wasnt happening. And THAT was usually not worth doing, so I just lived with it.

Had that happen to me too, before I got this.
But, I'd have to go so far back, I'm not sure I want to do that all over again.
Thing is, I can't equip the skills. No tailor = no arrow patterns = no Arma Igneus ammo, no lockpicking means I can't even enter the Black castles. So I can't really go on.
Is there absolutely no way to fix this?

Right, scrap the above post. Went on a little further yesterday, saved, loaded today, and the problem seems to have resolved itself. Weird.

How strange, but good!!!! Now if they would just release the DS source code to the open source community so they could patch it up...
