Oh, absolutely. The cases with a legitimate and actual "win" by the poorly armed human are rare. But even just beating off a wild animal that is planning on eating you is pretty impressive. BUT, again, as I pointed out at the begining, mountain lions are in an entirely different weight class than tigers and bears. They are lighter than the average adult human. It gives us a MUCH better chance against them, and we STILL lose most of the time. In a Human-vs-wild animal equation, the human needs really good tools/weapons to ballance out the equation.

well, it depends on the wild animal oufcourse. We are pretty high on the food chain even without our tools. But we definatley not at the top (without tools).

My youngest lad , Nicholas (14) has just started a game.. (BTW. installation was a breeze..!! ) - already the conversations I have with him about it proves that it really does stimulate the old grey matter.. he makes comments and asks questions about Hyperborea that he doesn't with the other more run-of-the-mill RPG's he plays.. - I can see the puzzlement/wonder in his face.. heh, heh! - nice one, Xaa!
